Volleyball coaches request equipment, urge district to post junior-high opening

Volleyball coaches Matt Younkin and Shannon Smitley told the Athletic Committee the girls' team improved across their first season and that players became stronger with each game. Smitley requested new practice and game balls and asked the district to examine the current net to determine whether it can be repaired or should be replaced.
Coach Matt Younkin said he would like the district to advertise the junior-high coaching position because he does not expect to return next year. The minutes note Coach Rebecca Perkins was not in attendance for the report.
