Addison board approves consent agenda and several ordinances and resolutions

At its Aug. 17 meeting the Village of Addison board approved the consent agenda and adopted multiple ordinances and resolutions originating from committee recommendations earlier that evening.

The consent agenda included accounts payable directives (Directive 27‑20: $648,719.17; Directive 27‑21 and 27‑22 as recorded in the meeting), the first one‑year contract extension for Muscat Painting and Decorating (not to exceed $30,000) for streetlight painting services, and the outdoor activity permit for Blue Line Bar and Grill on Sept. 7. The board also gave second reading and adopted an ordinance amending chapter 10 of the village code related to admittance of village officers or employees to licensed premises for inspection purposes.

Committee recommendations were transmitted to the board and corresponding resolutions were adopted by roll call, covering a CTSI microwave purchase for the dispatch center, direct purchase of three Public Works vehicles, the New Singular Wireless lease amendment, the Web's Edge video order for police recruitment and the ETSB MOU for CAD interfacing. Board members recorded approvals by roll call and the meeting adjourned after routine reports and event announcements.
