The minutes record approval of summer student custodial hires (including Olivia Smeltzer and Mason Brodzina), summer custodial staff, Extended Learning Opportunity and ESY teachers and assistants at specified hourly rates, and additions to the professional substitute list (Nicole Hopkins and Bethany Reese). The board also approved leave requests for identified employee numbers with effective dates and noted the leaves will run concurrent with available FMLA. A five-year agreement with Kent Bernier as School Police Officer Supervisor was approved effective July 1, 2026.
The motion to hire Olivia Smeltzer passed with an 8-0-1 roll call (President Domer Smeltzer recorded as abstaining); most other personnel items were approved on the consent agenda with roll call recorded 9-0.
