The Penns Valley Area School Board met in a special voting meeting on Feb. 24, 2026, at Penns Valley Elementary/Intermediate and interviewed representatives from IU 17 as part of the district's superintendent search. The meeting was called to order by President Domer Smeltzer at 6:00 PM and had been advertised on Feb. 22, 2026 as a session to interview consultants and to hire a consultant to conduct the search.
