Board approves Mohawk soccer cooperative, special-education transport and other operational agreements

The board approved a cooperative agreement with Mohawk Area School District for boys varsity soccer, subject to final solicitor-approved language. The motion was moved by Roxanne Exposito, seconded by Valarie Pavelko, and recorded as carrying 7–0.
In related operational business the board approved a special-education transportation agreement with Christian Allen, made effective Oct. 7, 2025, pending receipt of all required paperwork. Field trips presented to the board were approved, and an application under the LERTA tax-abatement program for a new-construction home at 2007 Sunny Avenue Ext. (applicants Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Barnes) was approved pending assessment. These items were moved and carried during the operations portion of the meeting.
