Union Area board approves GoMath K–6 adoption, displays Amplify Science series for public review

Jay Cole moved to adopt and purchase the K–6 GoMath series; Richard Mangino moved to approve public display of the Amplify Science series. Both motions were seconded and recorded as carried with eight yes votes. The items had been displayed since February 19, 2026 prior to the board’s vote.
The decisions allow the district to proceed with procurement and public review processes for the materials before classroom use and final distribution to teachers.
