Union Area board accepts resignations, approves leaves and hires varsity golf coach

The motions to accept the resignations were moved and seconded and recorded as carried with six affirmative votes.
The board approved a 60-day FMLA request from Alicia Chaney beginning Aug. 17, 2026, contingent on receipt of proper paperwork, and approved one unpaid day for Mrs. Kayla Todd on May 21, 2026. The board also hired Mr. Bob Natale as varsity golf coach with a stipend of $3,750 effective April 15, 2026, pending receipt of required paperwork.
