Marion Center board hires kindergarten teacher, accepts resignations and approves bus contracts

The board also accepted the resignation of Jennifer Yurky, kindergarten teacher at Rayne, effective Aug. 19, 2024, and the resignation of Justin Hall, effective Sept. 5, 2024. Administrators presented approval requests for contracted bus drivers (Mark Marquez, Ellen Foresman, Monique Kroupa, Danielle Park, Leslie Wallace, Brian Potts, Jack LaBryer and Josephine Shultz) and recommended adding a slate of substitutes and guest teachers to district lists. The personnel packet included multiple substitute and guest teacher appointments and specific hire/contract recommendations for the current school year.
