Tony, who presented the Business & Fiscal Services report, told the board that timber revenue for February came in about $100,000 above expectations and that this increase will be reflected in next month's reporting. "I just got the timber revenue in for February which will be reflected next month but it is $100,000 more than expected," he said.
Tony also said the district submitted its 2025–26 membership and revenue estimate to the state: "the amount is approximately 24.3 million for our general fund," he reported, noting that figure does not include the ending fund balance. Board members acknowledged the start of the budget process and upcoming budget-committee meetings, and Tony and district leaders said they will continue outreach on budget basics to stakeholders.
