The Seaside SD 10 board opened a public hearing on the construction manager/general contractor (CM/GC) procurement method for the district’s 2025 capital projects and accepted the finding-of-facts document that allows the district to proceed with the CM/GC process.
Susan, the staff facilitator for the hearing, told the board that “public comment in this hearing is limited to comments regarding the finding of facts document related to the cmgc procurement method for the 2025 capital projects.” No members of the public spoke during the allotted time, and the chair closed the hearing before the board considered the action item.
The board then moved to accept the finding-of-facts and proceed with the procurement. Staff outlined the schedule: the CM/GC request for proposals will be issued Thursday, proposals are due April 10 at 2 p.m., and the district expects to shortlist firms shortly after that with final board approval no later than the end of April.
