The Darlington Community School District board convened a special meeting on Feb. 4, 2026. "The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Board President Bob Hermanson," the minutes state. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the minutes list administration present as Jackson, Austin and Flanagan and board members present as Bryson, Crist, Fink, Hermanson, King, Riechers, Stauffacher and Zuberbuhler; Gratz was absent.
On procedural business, the board adopted the agenda on a motion by Stauffacher, seconded by Riechers. Later in the meeting, motions recorded in the minutes included a roll-call vote to move to closed session under Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(g) (Gratz absent) and a roll-call vote to return to open session (Gratz and Zuberbuhler noted absent for that second listing). The meeting ended on a motion by Riechers, seconded by Fink, to adjourn at 5:45 p.m. The minutes were submitted by Cale Jackson.
