The board also accepted a pledge from the Darlington Hoops Club to cover half the cost (approximately $3,000) of new folding chairs for the FEMA gym and DEMS Large Group Room, and subsequently approved the purchase of 180 padded folding chairs with the Hoops Club donation applied. Motions accepting donations and approving the chair purchase were recorded as carried.
