FASTSIGNS opens at 371 North Avenue in New Rochelle

FASTSIGNS of New Rochelle celebrated a grand opening ribbon-cutting at 371 North Avenue on Saturday, with the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Yadira Ramos Herbert in attendance. Catherine White, the Chamber's executive director, introduced the business and its owners and called the new location a welcome activation of the North Avenue corridor.

"What's unique about FASTSIGNS is it's not just a printer who makes your copies," White said, describing the shop's role in helping businesses with branding and marketing. Mayor Yadira Ramos Herbert congratulated the owners and praised their commitment to the city, saying, "It's a brand. It's a reflection of someone's dream and vision," and that the city will support businesses that choose to grow in New Rochelle.

Business owner Dave Pottenger said he left corporate America to open the franchise and is eager to partner with local organizations. "We're very much into helping, companies, small businesses, branding themselves, getting their messages out and working as part of the local community," he said. The ceremony included a Chamber presentation, group photos and a formal ribbon cutting.

Organizers said the location will seek opportunities to participate in neighborhood events and sponsorships; no specific sponsorship commitments or financial incentives were announced at the event.
