Students of the month recognized; Lowe's donates grounds supplies to district

Superintendent Michael Maley recognized Lea K. Oshman (present) and Ty Atkinson (absent) as the district’s students of the month for February; Maley read biographical notes for both students and the board offered congratulations.
Maley also acknowledged a donation from Lowe's Home Improvement (arranged through employee Brandon Oakill) of pull-behind tank sprayers, pallets of starter and weed-and-feed fertilizer and turf supplies to be used on district grounds and athletic fields. The minutes state the items were provided at no cost to the district and that estimated fair market value was undetermined at the time of the meeting.
Board members thanked the donors; the administration will allocate the materials to maintenance and athletic field care as needed.
