The board authorized the Superintendent to sign a revised 2023/2024 Title I Letter of Agreement between Minersville Area School District and Schuylkill Intermediate Unit #29 in the amount of $11,427.03 for the 2023/2024 school year.
Administrators also secured board authorization to renew the district's commercial insurance package with Utica National Insurance Group and AmTrust North America for 2024–25 in the amount of $125,362 (note in the record: 2023/24 cost was $120,476). The board separately approved renewal of cyber liability coverage with Travelers for $16,041, with no change from the prior year; both renewals were authorized to be executed by the Superintendent with The Seltzer Group as Broker of Record.
District Solicitor Nicholas A. Quinn called attention to the LERTA public meeting scheduled for June 11 at 6:00 PM in the High School Auditorium and thanked the board for reappointing him as District Solicitor for his 38th year.
