The Minersville Area Board of Education on Feb. 25 authorized a planned maintenance agreement with McClure Company for ongoing HVAC maintenance from Feb. 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028 at an annual amount of $72,428.
The motion was made by Albert D. Marazas and seconded by Michael Andruchek. Board member James T. Croley voted no and asked the board to consider issuing a request for proposals to ensure competitive pricing; all other members voted in favor and the motion carried.
The motion authorizes the Business Manager to execute the two-year agreement; the minutes record Croley’s request for an RFP but do not show the board directing an immediate RFP process.
