Montour board elects Mrs. Morrow as vice president
Summary
During the Dec. 5, 2024 re-organization meeting, Mr. Galiyas nominated Mrs. Morrow for vice president; after a motion to close nominations the board recorded a unanimous voice roll-call approving her election.
Mrs. Morrow was elected vice president of the Montour School District Board during the Dec. 5 re-organization meeting. Mr. Galiyas nominated her and, when no other nominations were offered, Mr. Hutter moved to close nominations; the voice roll call was recorded as "All Present Voted 'Yes'" and the motion carried.
The election followed the selection of a temporary president and the board's election of Kenneth Barth as president. The minutes show the vice-presidential vote was unanimous and concluded as part of the re-organization business held in Room #361.
