Director of Operations Darryl Yonkers presented multiple budgeted operations and technology purchases Jan. 16 that the board approved. Notable items included a Trafera purchase of 750 Chromebooks for grades 2–4 totaling $366,750 (to be funded from the technology budget and the Ready to Learn Grant), 85 desktop computers district‑wide for $76,415, and a light board for the high school auditorium for $9,209.96. The board recorded the approvals by voice/roll call.
The business office also presented a replacement postage machine at a cost not to exceed $12,454, plus annual maintenance of $1,160 and quarterly software subscription/meter rental of $243.
