The Montour School District Board on June 19 approved a package of budgeted curriculum and instructional software purchases for the 2025‑26 school year presented by Director of Instruction Dominic Salpeck.
Key line items approved included Edmentum (Study Island benchmarking and practice) at $42,000; IXL (math/reading/grammar practice) at $32,000; Renaissance fundamentals screening tools at $20,000 (for MHS and DEW); Twig Education lab materials and consumables at $28,000; Quizizz at $13,000; and several other purchases ranging from $800 to $42,000 as listed in the agenda. The board also approved the district’s planned flu clinic for employees on Oct. 10, 2025 at no cost to the district.
The Education Agenda passed by roll call with all present voting yes.
