Montour renews Nutrition Group agreement and reviews cafeteria finances and meal counts

The Montour School District board approved renewal of The Nutrition Group’s agreement for the 2025–26 school year, and Director of Finance Anna Borsos presented Cafeteria Fund year-to-date totals: revenues of $1,294,376.62 and expenditures of $1,196,656.77 with an FNB checking balance of $174,883.00 and a money-market balance of $804,142.47 as of March 31, 2025.
During the presentation the minutes also noted monthly meal counts: March 2025 saw 17,879 school breakfasts and 36,330 school lunches served. The Nutrition Group representative Allison Douglas provided the 2025–26 cafeteria budget as part of the recognitions/presentations portion of the agenda.
