The Montour School District Board voted unanimously on May 15 to adopt the Proposed General Fund Budget for the 2025–2026 school year as presented by Director of Finance Mrs. Anna Borsos. The adoption was recorded during the Budget & Finance portion of the meeting and carried on a roll-call vote with all present voting "YES."
The adoption followed approval of bills and ratifications (General Fund bills to be approved $2,027,135.30; bills to be ratified $2,565,356.78) and other routine fiscal measures. The board also approved a $600,000 transfer to the capital reserves fund specifically identified for the Storm Line Repair Project in support of anticipated capital work.
