Montour School Board reviews April finances, approves bills and transfers

The Montour School District Board on May 15 approved the Treasurer’s Report through April 2025, which lists year-to-date revenues of $71,447,576.71 and year-to-date expenditures of $63,743,765.37, Director of Finance Mrs. Anna Borsos said. The board voted to approve General Fund bills to be approved totaling $2,027,135.30 and ratified bills totaling $2,565,356.78.
In the same motion the board authorized a budget transfer from Athletic Director travel to Wrestling travel totaling $1,900 and approved renewals including CSIU software for 2025–26 not to exceed $38,000 and the district life insurance agreement with Sun Life/CM Regent Solutions for three years at no increase in cost. The board also accepted multiple grants and donations, including a $93,000 award from the Richard King Mellon Foundation for a School to Work Partnership Initiative and a $60 PLTW mini-grant from Rochester Institute of Technology. The motions passed by unanimous roll call.
