The Montour School District Board approved the 2025–26 Montour High School Student/Parent Handbook and the high school Crisis Response Manual and Parent Reunification Plan at its Aug. 21 meeting.
Montour High School Principal Todd Price presented the items. The board also accepted a $1,000 grant from the Highmark Foundation to support the school’s “Fresh Start Closet,” a program indicated in the meeting materials; the acceptance was included in the same education motion and carried on a unanimous roll call vote.
The approved handbook and crisis plan were listed as enclosures in the board packet. The district will incorporate the accepted grant funds into the high school’s student support budget, per typical practice.
