The Montour School District Board of School Directors approved the Treasurer’s Report through July 2025 and authorized payment of General Fund bills totaling $7,528,505.42, with $1,972,768.39 in bills to be ratified, during the Aug. 21 regular meeting.
Director of Finance Anna Borsos presented the district’s fund balances and year‑to‑date totals, reporting General Fund revenues of $894,047.70 and expenditures of $3,465,918.55. She also listed multiple term certificates of deposit and money market holdings; audited fund balance as of June 30, 2024, was reported as $26,828,900.00. The board accepted a $25 donation to the Montour High School library from Mrs. Cynthia Morrow. Mr. Hutter moved to approve the Treasurer/Budget & Finance report; the motion carried on a roll call vote with all present voting yes.
The board’s action included disclosure of active capital reserve items and ratified Capital Reserve Fund expenditures totaling $257,484.69. No further public discussion was recorded. The next routine financial update will appear in the board packet for the following month.
