Supervisors work to clarify committee appointments, terms and tracking

One supervisor provided an update on a months‑long review of county committees and board appointments, saying the goal is to reconcile names, authorities and website links and determine where board representation is required.

The supervisor said they are creating a cleaner document separating permanent committee descriptions from current appointees and adding a column with website references for each entity. Board members discussed whether chairs or staff should be responsible for tracking membership and term expirations and agreed to continue work toward a reconciled list and a packet to review before next month’s meeting. No formal action was taken at the meeting.
