Colleen briefed the committee on an extension to the BCIU PIM services agreement to provide data and process support over the summertime data-upload period. She said the extension would provide continuity for the district as staff onboard additional responsibilities and described the arrangement as contingency-based with the ability to terminate with 30 days' notice.
The packet showed the day rate would move to $447 per day (an increase compared with the prior rate). Colleen said staff expects to use the external support only as needed and is monitoring utilization; R. Kelly (the IU contact referenced) was described as a key resource for enrollment, residency and attendance data uploads. The committee voted to move the extension forward for board consideration, with the expectation staff will limit usage and return to the board as necessary.
