Staff member announced that the high-school emergency generator was repaired as of June 16 and that the district has taken the rental unit back, removing that recurring expense. “The rental has been taken back,” Staff member said when describing the repair outcome.
The district explained the delay stemmed from sourcing parts for a Kato light alternator after the original manufacturer left the market; the unit was rebuilt and the alternator replaced, restoring 480-volt service for the high school. Staff said they believe there is a one-year warranty on parts and labor for the rebuild but said they would confirm warranty details.
