Trustees press for scope and cost details on camera installs and lift work
Summary
During Q&A after the summer-projects presentation trustees asked how many camera installs require a lift and whether that outside-install cost was included; presenters said the board previously authorized up to $8,500 for outside installs and quoted a camera contract amount of $40,551.87.

Board members asked follow-up questions after the presentation about how many of the new security cameras would require lift work and whether the cost for outside installation had been included in the project budget. A presenter clarified the procurement numbers and the board’s prior authorization.
“The security cameras were $40,551.87 and we had asked the board to not exceed the $8,500 for the outside company to install those that require it,” a presenter said when asked to clarify the vendor and installation-cost structure. Trustees pressed for specificity about which areas remain to be completed and whether any additional masonry work should be added in a future capital request.
Trustees also requested that the administration follow up with a line-item breakdown if outside installation or additional masonry repairs require further funding. The conversation remained a question-and-answer exchange; no new contract or appropriation was approved at the meeting.
