Board forms ad hoc committee to review PAVE contract after PAVE report
Summary
Following a PAVE program report on staffing expectations and advertising, the board appointed two members to an ad hoc committee to review the Parkview Academy of Virtual Education contract.
Ben (Benjamin) Brueggen presented the Parkview Academy of Virtual Education (PAVE) report, outlining plans to raise staff expectations, strengthen student accountability and update advertising, including billboards.
Following that report, the District Administrator proposed forming an ad hoc committee to review the PAVE contract; the board appointed President Zach Knutson and Board member Bruce Polheber, Jr. as board representatives to the committee. The board did not record a separate vote in the minutes for the appointment beyond the administrator’s recommendation being accepted.
