The Parkview School District Board approved a package of compensation increases tied to the Consumer Price Index (2.63%) for several employee groups.
A motion by Jennie Krajeck to approve pay increases for salaried maintenance staff and the food service director at the CPI rate of 2.63% passed unanimously; the minutes state, "This amount is to be distributed in equal amounts, $1,513 per FTE." A separate motion to apply the 2.63% CPI increase to all hourly non‑union staff (reflected in each person’s hourly rate) also passed 7‑0. The board additionally approved a 2.63% increase for administrators, "This amount is to be distributed in equal amounts, $3,036 per FTE," as recorded in the minutes.
Board members questioned and discussed the proposal with Business Manager Bob Chady before the votes; the motions were seconded by Kerrie Schmidt and passed unanimously. The approvals will be incorporated into the 2026‑27 budget and payroll adjustments.
