The Parkview School District Board of Education approved a consent agenda at its Feb. 16 meeting that included financial and personnel items and a student trip.
The consent motion, moved by Board member Jennie Krajeck and seconded by Arthur Gibeaut, passed unanimously (Yea: 7, Nay: 0, Absent: 0). The board approved 2026 summer school dates of June 15–July 3, 2026, accepted the resignation of Special Education teacher Brody Milz and PES cook Brenda Nelson, and approved hiring Andrea Tidwell as Early Childhood Special Education teacher (PES), Nathalie DuBois as a Special Education instructional assistant (PES), and food-service substitute Stacy Johnson. The consent agenda also included approval of the 7th/8th-grade trip to Washington, D.C., scheduled for June 4–9, 2027.
The motion covered a range of routine business: designation of Bank of Brodhead as the district's public depository and approval of P-card/vouchers payable. The board did not take separate roll-call votes on individual consent items; the single motion approved the listed items together.
