High School Principal Mike Wilson reported that graduation on May 22 'was a great success' and described a Technical Education project: a 12x24 'tiny home' shed with electrical service and a mini-split HVAC unit that will be sold via an online auction this summer. Wilson also noted the baseball team finished with a 23–1 regular-season record and that track athletes, including Sophie Hall (who set a new school long-jump record), qualified for postseason competition.
Middle School Principal Kris Wallace said the 8th-grade recognition ceremony occurred the same day and that about 250 students will attend a year-end field trip to Wild Mountain. Wallace noted several middle-school records were broken and that Adele Rimmereid was selected among 35 students statewide for the middle-school honors choir. Wallace also announced a 'bell-to-bell' cell-phone policy for next year requiring devices to be off and away for the full school day.
Elementary Principal Rita Platt reported on the 3rd Grade Writer’s Convention (the 24th or 25th year), a 4K Round Up with 45 students registered, a packed 4K concert and completed annual evaluations for drivers, paraprofessionals and teachers. Platt said a driver cookout helped staff morale and that all drivers plan to return next year.
