Parkview pauses reading pilot pending DPI vendor list; K–5 math pilot to proceed

Mrs. Jen Bowers informed the committee that the district is pausing its current reading pilot for the rest of the school year while the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) finalizes and publishes an updated approved vendor list for reading resources. Bowers said the district will establish a reading pilot next year after DPI’s publication.
Separately, Bowers said the K–5 math pilot will move forward and staff will prepare a formal proposal for committee review. No vendor names, dollar amounts, or timelines for the math proposal were provided at the March 9 meeting.
