The board reviewed open-enrollment results at the May 18 meeting and approved the majority of applications for the 2026-27 school year.
The district reported 25 students applied to open enroll into Parkview for 2026-27. Thirty-six applications were filed to open enroll out of Parkview (representing 33 students who applied to multiple districts). Fredd Carr moved to approve all open-enrollment applications into the district except for five applications that exceeded the enrollment limits the board adopted in January 2026; Kerrie Schmidt seconded. The motion passed 6-0 with one absence. A subsequent motion to approve the Open Enrollment Out applications as presented also passed 6-0 with one absence.
Board records show the open-enrollment window closed at the end of April; the motions recorded reflect acceptance with the noted exceptions and compliance with board policy limits set earlier in the year.
