At its May 18 meeting, the Parkview School District Policy Committee presented a package of revised policies for second reading and the full board approved the changes.
The packet covered policy 343.42 (Start College Now Program) and its rule, 343.44 and rule (Early College Credit Program), 345.61 and rule (Early Graduation), 443.5 (Cell Phones and Personal Communication Devices), 463 and its rule (Laude Honors System), 536.4 (Retirement of Certified/Administrative Staff Members), 685 (Capitalization and Depreciation), and food-service policies 760, 761 and 763. Kerrie Schmidt moved to approve the revised policies; Michelle Schwarz seconded. The motion passed 6-0 with one absence.
Board members recorded no further questions on the item after the Policy Committee presentation. The approved policy numbers were read into the record as part of the packet.
