Two Waterford Union High School staff members, Ehren Klebenow and Taylor Juran, presented the Guiding Coalition’s mission and norms, describing how Professional Learning Community (PLC) teams use common assessments to identify student learning gaps and refine supports.
Klebenow said the Guiding Coalition includes 15 teachers and five administrators representing all subject areas and emphasized staff survey feedback showing broad engagement. "PLC teams create a collaborative culture focused on a 'learning-centered' environment," Klebenow said. Future goals mentioned included establishing consistent data protocols and developing intervention and enrichment opportunities across grade levels.
