A district parent used the Resident Comments period at the April 20 board meeting to raise concern about the district's progressive discipline process after a student with no prior disciplinary record received a two-day out-of-school suspension that coincided with Advanced Placement testing.
President Mike Schoenfeld acknowledged the parent's concern and said the Board had no prior knowledge of the incident. Superintendent Dr. Francois told the Board he would review the specific facts and report back regarding the appropriateness of the disciplinary action.
