High school schedules ACT, staff attend literacy training and school earns WADA recognition

High school Principal Mike Wilson reported ACT registration for juniors on March 10, literacy training for staff, a benefit for employee Brenda Tebben, and that the school was accepted into Cohort 1 of the Wisconsin Athletic Directors Association Program of Distinction.
Mike Wilson, high school principal, told the board that juniors completed ACT registration and that the district will administer the ACT to juniors on March 10; staff will offer ACT prep the week before the exam. "On Monday and Tuesday (2/23, 2/24) we registered our juniors for their ACT," Wilson said.
Wilson also reported five high-school staff attended secondary literacy training on Feb. 20 and that last night the community held a large benefit for long-time employee Brenda Tebben, who is battling cancer. He highlighted that the school was accepted into Cohort 1 of the Wisconsin Athletic Directors Association (WADA) Program of Distinction, a six-month assessment of the district's athletics program to be led by Tara Rose.
