At its Jan. 19 meeting the board approved consent agenda items including hire of a special-education teacher, an internal transfer, and several donations to the Family Assistance Fund and PES book vending machine.
The board approved the consent agenda, which included the recommendation to hire Amy Doyle as PJH/PHS Special Education Teacher and the transfer of a special-education instructional assistant, Carrie Nath, to a lead cook position. The consent agenda also recorded three donations: $1,177 to the Family Assistance Fund from Children's Christmas Benefit Charities, $1,500 from Luther Valley Church to the Family Assistance Fund, and $1,000 from Stateline Community Foundation for a PES book vending machine.
Bruce Polheber, Jr. moved to approve the consent items and Art Gibeaut seconded; the motion passed Yea: 5, Nay: 0, Absent: 2. The board also approved prior meeting minutes with Michelle Schwarz recorded as abstaining due to absence.
