The Policy Committee reviewed proposed edits to Policy 343.44 and 343.44-Rule (Early College Credit Program) intended to clarify administration and identify responsibility for program oversight. Administrator Amy Lewis told the committee the rule language should denote who is the point person for ECCP oversight.
Committee members discussed ensuring the designated point person could coordinate with postsecondary partners and counselors. No vote was recorded; staff were asked to return with revised language that names the point-person role more explicitly.
