Parkview School District administrators reported a brief but notable uptick in cash holdings at the April 14 Finance Committee meeting.
Bob Chady, an administrator for the Parkview School District, said the district's "cash assets on deposit increased by slightly more than $1,125,000 in February" and attributed most of the increase to property-tax receipts collected in January. He added that year-to-year cash-asset growth was "over $330,000." The figures were presented as part of the February 2026 Cash & Investment Report.
Committee members did not request immediate budgetary changes; the presentation was framed as an informational update to the preliminary figures used in the district budget process. The committee will revisit financial detail as part of upcoming budget and budget-revision agenda items.
