WUHS renovation remains on schedule and budget; district expands sprinkler scope

Superintendent Francois told the board June 15 that the Waterford Union High School construction project remains "on schedule and on budget." He highlighted completed abatement in the art area, progress on HVAC and plumbing in Area A, and the planned installation of a new water heater.
Francois said cost savings allowed the district to expand the fire sprinkler system to the entire school and reported a "street-vacate" issue concerning the loading dock is being resolved with the Village via a potential easement; the Village will also repave Field Drive this summer. Board members were invited to a walkthrough of D Wing and a video update of renovations was scheduled for June 16.
