Board accepts donations and grants for athletics and makerspace; registration dates set

The board recognized a Belke Financial soccer donation and grants from the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region and the Laack Memorial Foundation for an elementary makerspace; online registration opens Aug. 3 and in-person registration is Aug. 4, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
At the July 20 meeting the board moved to recognize and accept a Belke Financial donation to support soccer and accepted grants for an elementary school makerspace from the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region (Empowering Rural Communities) and the Laack Memorial Foundation. The motions were recorded as carried 6-0. Mrs. Pritchard and Mrs. LaCrosse were specifically thanked for applying for the makerspace grant funds.
The board also announced registration dates for the 2026-2027 school year: online registration opens August 3, 2026, and in-person registration will be held one day only on August 4, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in all buildings.
