Commissioners reported that a bill proposing a local option to tax vacant residential properties died in committee and said a restriction bill also failed. They also discussed Senate Bill 26097, which meeting speakers described as a decriminalization measure for commercial sex work in Colorado. "That is the decriminalization of commercial sex work in Colorado," one commissioner said. "Essentially that bill would legalize prostitution both on the buying and selling for the entire state."
