Paradise supervisors direct professionals to finalize several ordinances and set October adoption hearing

Solicitor John C. Prevoznik and Hanover’s Steve Dellinger reviewed a package of proposed ordinance amendments covering Data Center rules, a Traffic Impact Study requirement, Incentive‑Based Standards criteria and bus shelter standards. The Board voted to schedule a meeting on October 15, 2026 to consider adopting several of the amended ordinances and directed the Professionals Ordinance Committee to finalize the Traffic Impact, Incentive‑Based Standards and Bus Shelter ordinances and forward them to both the Paradise Township and Monroe County Planning Commissions for review.

Dellinger said the agenda had incorrectly listed the Parking Ordinance and clarified that it should have listed the Sign Plaza Ordinances; the Board moved the Sign Plaza and Electronic Sign ordinances to the Professionals Ordinance Committee for finalization and placed those drafts on the August 3, 2026 agenda for recommendation to the planning commissions. As Dellinger noted, "the agenda incorrectly listed the Parking Ordinance as ready for discussion – it should have listed the Sign Plaza Ordinances." No ordinances were adopted at the July 20 meeting; the board set public‑notice and review dates.
