Administrator Bob Chady reported to the Parkview School District Finance Committee that the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s recent administrative review identified 32 findings requiring corrective action, seven of which the district has already responded to. He said the district plans to resolve about six findings per week with an eye toward meeting DPI’s requested resolution date of Feb. 20, 2026.
Chady reviewed the district’s 2024–25 Food Service Annual Financial Report and said the program operated at a deficit of slightly more than $54,000; he noted the deficit was partially inflated by nearly $30,000 in one-time equipment purchases. Chady also told the committee that, as of Jan. 11, 108 families owed $9,794.54 in negative meal balances. To address those issues, he said he will work with the Food Services Director on operational changes and will propose edits to district policies and annual notices to better align practices for reducing outstanding meal balances and correcting conflicting language in existing policies.
