.20 LTE counselor contracted to support student mental health, board told

Director of Pupil Services Matt Green reported the district hired a .20 LTE school counselor (Ryan Foley) for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year to support student mental health and behavioral needs, funded through School-Based Mental Health Services State Funding.
The board was informed that the district has brought on a part-time (.20 LTE) school counselor, Ryan Foley, to assist with student mental health and behavioral supports for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Director of Pupil Services Matt Green said the position is funded through School-Based Mental Health Services State Funding.
Green listed Title IV, mandatory reporting, and open enrollment among other items in his report and framed the counselor hire as targeted support for behavioral and mental-health needs at PES. "a School Counselor had been brought onboard, for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, to assist with student mental health and behavioral support needs at PES," Green reported in the minutes.
