High School Principal Mike Wilson told the board that six teachers have volunteered to form a Literacy Committee to address reading and literacy goals at the high school.
Wilson said the group will meet a couple of times each month to share backgrounds, observations and to develop high-school reading goals. He also reported the tech-ed teaching position closed with seven applicants and that the district plans to contact most candidates for interviews in early December. Wilson highlighted successful fall athletics and the school play, crediting Marcia Dressel for leading performances.
