St. Croix Falls High School highlights strong extracurricular participation, evacuation drill and upcoming manufacturing visit

High School Principal Mike Wilson told the board the district offers a variety of extracurricular options and highlighted a recent districtwide evacuation drill.
"Just want to acknowledge that our district offers some unique opportunities to our students and we have some diverse club offerings, Esports and the possible addition of Mountain Biking are just examples. In 2023 we had approx. 77% of our students involved, and the 2025 numbers are not in yet," Wilson said. He also described the Oct. 1 evacuation drill: the high school students walked to the SOTV church reunification site, attendance was verified with advisory teachers, and the students then returned to school; "the whole process went very well," Wilson said. He added that students will take a field trip to Nobles Manufacturing and that interested students are signing up with Mrs. Sinclear.
The principal's report functions as a status update on student engagement and safety procedures; the participation figure cited is for 2023 and the minutes note that 2025 figures were not yet available. The field trip and extracurricular planning will proceed under normal supervisory and permission processes.
