Committee approves multiple company licenses in routine action

The Alarm, Locksmith and Fire Sprinkler Industry Committee voted unanimously on Jan. 7 to approve company licenses for a group of applicants presented on the agenda. The approvals—moved and seconded during the company's review—passed on recorded roll-call votes of 5-0.

Companies approved during the meeting included CFP Fire Protection, Inc.; Total Fire Protection, Inc.; Charleys Southside Lock & Safe, LLC; Firebrand Solutions, LLC; Lighthouse Security Systems; Pinnacle Fire & Automation, LLC; and Kharma Consulting, Inc. Committee members recorded a unanimous "Yes" vote of Bernita Hart, Josh Lancaster, Adam Winbury, Jackie Ward, and Ron Bada on each approval.

Several applicants were represented in person. Charley Marriman appeared for Charleys Southside Lock & Safe and Mark Simmons represented Pinnacle Fire & Automation; Donald Fisher represented Firebrand Solutions; Wyatt Wilde represented Lighthouse Security Systems. The minutes note that some applicants were not present when their names were considered—Steven Schwartz for CFP Fire Protection and Jerrod Glover for Total Fire Protection—but the committee still voted to grant those company licenses.

Two company applications were tabled for further consideration because they were associated with Agenda Item #7 and an expected associate, Wassim Arook, was not present: Locksmith Plus, LLC (associated with Murad Helo) and Locksmith Doctor, LLC (associated with Nasir Al Hijawi). The committee continued those items to the next meeting.

The approvals were presented as routine business and no public comments or objections were recorded during the company-application reviews. The committee adjourned at 9:44 a.m.
